Starting a kitchen remodel or designing your dream kitchen from scratch is both nerve wrecking and exciting! If you’re like me you’re doing so much research to make sure you get every detail just right and that you’ve thought of everything.

We remodeled our kitchen 5 years ago and I specifically designed it with as many cabinets and drawers as possible. So today I’m going to be talking kitchen cabinet organizers.

It can be hard to keep kitchen cabinets and drawers organized so I knew I wanted to find something that I could add to my cabinets to keep them looking new! These are my tested and approved kitchen cabinet organizers that took our kitchen to the next level.

This post is all about the best kitchen cabinet organizers I’ve found!

Kitchen Cabinet Organizers You Didn’t Know You Needed

Almost all of these kitchen cabinet organizers are made by Rev-a-Shelf. After 5 years with these products I can’t say enough good things about their quality. You can buy Rev-a-Shelf organizers from so many different retailers but I chose Amazon. I’ve since bought more from Target so if what you want isn’t in stock, shop around.

The best part about the products I’m sharing is that most of these can be customized to suit your needs. And I don’t mean custom ordered and super expensive – I mean that you can get the size closest to what you need and then cut them to size at home! I’m going to share which options I have and how I used them. You really can mix and match all you want.

My kitchen cabinet drawers are large so I actually mixed and matched these organizers to fill the entire space I had. My husband also cut a few of them down for me so that everything was snug and didn’t shift around.

In this drawer I’m using the silverware drawer organizer, the spice rack, and a single divider between the two to keep things in place. My husband cut the spice rack in half and you’ll see below where I used the other half. You could totally dedicate an entire drawer to spices!

Now this drawer is to the right of the one above so I used the other half of the spice rack, another single divider and then the utensil organizer. This allows me to keep my other utensils organized and this doesn’t look like a junk drawer of things you can never find.

This would be perfect for spatulas and long spoons but I personally keep those in croc on my counter next to the cooktop.

I have to admit, this knife block quickly became one of my favorites. I’m able to store our ‘daily’ steak knives as well as all of the knives we use the most. The best part is that you can put them in whichever slot you wish because they’re all the same size. I have a mixture of knife sizes so as long as they’re put away they’re organized!

With this you also get this added tray in the front which is where my small spatulas end up.

I also have a divider in this drawer because I still had a lot of space left to use and I wanted to be able to keep the knife block in place. This is where I fold my hand towels and I love this because it’s almost like they’re on display.

Drawer Organizer

Did you know silverware and utensils aren’t the only things you can keep all neat and tidy?? These drawer organizers are AMAZING! I use these for our plates and bowls but you can also use these for pots and pans.

We keep our plates and bowls in the bottom-most drawers in our kitchen mainly because they are deep and heavy drawers but this also allows for our kids to easily access dishes! This works like a charm because every time they yank these drawers open I don’t have to cringe thinking about our plates or bowls sliding around and breaking.

These are actually pegboards and you get a set of 12 of these wooden pegs. My husband did have to cut the boards down for me to fit perfectly in the bottom of the drawer but once they were in all I had to do was arrange the pegs where I wanted them.

The best part about this is the fact that you can always move the pegs and this can grow with you over the years. I’ve never had to order more pegs and always have a few to spare!

Sink Base Drip Tray

A huge lesson learned for me was to always have some sort of drip tray in a base cabinet with a sink. This one has been perfect! Sadly I’ve had to clean it at least 2 times which means our sink and/or faucet has leaked on occasion. Ah-hem, our sink and faucet are only 5 years old!!

The last thing you want is to mess up the inside of a cabinet and not know it. Save yourself and get you a drip tray

This particular one is nice because it’s flexible but also rigid at the same time. It’s sort of like a mix of plastic and rubber. Things wipe right off it and I feel good knowing that any water leaks will be caught and I can easily spot them.

This drip tray comes in multiple size options but don’t worry, it’s also made to be cut down to size. I got a size that was closest to the inside of this cabinet and then the outside edges were cut off. They basically give you some excess to allow for this.

Then I added these sliding basket organizers because they were a good size for my cabinet and would give me somewhere to store dish rags and hand soaps. I always get asked where I got these.

Here are a few additional recommendations. Some of these weren’t around when I bought mine so you could save and get a ‘mixed’ drawer concept with just 1 organizer:
